Everything you need to know before you arrive
Opening hours, house rules and services at Casa de las Palmas. If anything is still unclear, message us on WhatsApp: we reply during reception hours.
Reception and arrival
- Reception is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Check-in happens within those hours.
- Rooms are ready from 1:00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your bags in a locker and use the pool, the hammocks and the social areas while you wait.
- Check-out is until 11:00 am.
Pool and bar
- The pool is included for guests, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- Day pass for visitors who are not staying: COP 15,000 per person, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- The bar is open from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Traditional set lunch (almuerzo corriente) for COP 20,000: it is best to book it before 10:00 am.
House rules
- We separate waste into four groups: organic, plastics, cans and general waste. Please help us sort it.
- Visitors must be announced at reception and may only enter while reception is open.
- Outside alcohol is not allowed: we have our own bar.
- We are a hostel for adult travellers. We only welcome children over 12 travelling with their parents. We are not a family-oriented hostel, although we can make exceptions.
